Christian Leitner is a Recording Engineer and Multi-Instrumentalist with a passion for all things music.

As a Recording Engineer, he specializes in acoustic recording, and has recorded everything from Jazz Quartets to full choirs. In 2022, Christian went on William Paterson University's European Chamber Choir Tour in Italy. It was there that he recorded and engineered all of the choirs performances in such places as Basilica di San Francesco d’Assisi- Assisi, Italia, Chiesa di Santo Stefano- Capri, Italia, Cattedrale di Sorrento- Sorrento, Italia, Basilica di San Camillo de Lellis- Roma, Italia. In addition, Christian has engineered and mixed multiple jazz groups at William Paterson University, playing both standards and original music.

Christians journey with music started at a very young age, hearing everything from the smooth and melodic sound of the doo-wop music his grandparents played in their car, to the 80’s and 90’s metal his dad played. In 5th grade he took up playing the clarinet in band, and soon started taking lessons with Dave Petty, a local musician in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area. Christian was soon introduced to the smooth sound of the jazz that Dave played, and spent the better half of his high school years learning how to play both saxophone and clarinet in the traditional jazz styles.

As a Musician, Christian is deeply interested in early forms of Jazz originating in New Orleans. He plays both saxophone and clarinet, and enjoys to play in the traditional style on a traditional Albert System clarinet. He also plays guitar, bass, and piano on a need to basis in his productions, and has a variety of instruments to cover different musical needs.

Outside of Music, Christian loves all things mechanical, and restores antique clocks. He also loves photography.
